The Monday Modelling Group was estblished in 2008. They usually meet every second Monday. The group is coordinated by Dennis White.
 
Their first modelling project was Casula Hobbies LHO Brake Van in HO. The group now working on a Silvermaz Models RU wheat hopper. They are formulating plans to construct DC controllers then move onto a white metal loco kit.

Progress 12 October ( one of Clyde's hoppers before the underframe castings were added)

The Monday Modellers had pretty much finished their RU hoppers.

Then they decided that they would fit their models with an underframe  casting from Sydney Hobbies. This casting provides the hoppers doors, centre sills and brake hande mountings.

However this meant that the coupler boxes and the brake gear had to come off their models. Richard is pictured carving off the detail on his hoppers.
