Wilkellton is representation of a British railway main line. The viewable track is a scale 1/4 mile long.

The track configuration closely matches the East Coast Main Line in the 1930s where it entered the Hadley Wood South Tunnel. At this location the quadrupled main line was reduced to two lines.  Similar track configurations could have been found at other locations on the East Coast Main Line such as  Potter's Bar or Stoke Bank. The design of layout was heavily influenced by the Wolverhampton MRC layout "Stoke Bank".
